Diana’s advice draws on her owner-side project management and execution experience with major Alberta oil sands operators. She has been directly accountable for managing front-end project planning, commercial risk identification, capital funding and execution planning for brownfield upstream assets.

She has managed capital and operational projects valued up to $60 million across mine, extraction and tailings environments — working between Calgary project offices and field sites at Kearl and Cold Lake. Her disciplined approach to project development and sequencing has supported execution readiness, schedule improvement and cost performance.

During this time, Diana worked with over 20 contractor and vendor companies, selecting EPCs, engineering firms and construction companies for FEED, detailed engineering and execution. She negotiated equipment procurement scopes and evaluated software solutions for project teams. Diana now uses her operator-side experience to help service companies translate owner strategies into clear business targets.
